Flight of the Sleeping Bird

PRIVATE COMMISSION:

The painting was commissioned in early 2020 prior to the pandemic.

The client wanted a large scale feature painting for his open plan Warehouse apartment in New Farm, Brisbane.

This painting went through many transformations to arrive at a landscape composition with many pictorial elements, illusions of birds, flower forms, figures, butterfly's and luminous light through the foreground which leads the eye back to a horizon line of trees.
