Purple Icarus

The title of this piece came to me when I realised the purple coloured bird form appears to be lodged in the tree-like patterns while still being able to hover in flight. This balance reminded me of the mythological greek character of Icarus who 'fell from the sky when the wax that joined his wings was melted by the sun.
